The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (2011) released Tuesday night and reportedly grossed about $1.6 million. While most will see an American version of this film please do not short yourself and see the foreign film also. While looking through Netflix some months back for some odd reason I found the urge to type in the title and hello it popped up. A foreign film in subtitles and while most sigh at reading while enjoying movies you will find it refreshing and engaging to know the 2009 Girl With The Dragon Tattoo also known as Män Som Hatar Kvinnor is a very well put together film. One of the things I enjoyed about the original is that the main characters are real people and not all dolled up like most films in Hollywood.
Note the Denmark version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is a trilogy (The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest) so you get three times the fun with quality movies with more story and substance than special effects.
