It appears teenagers are driving smartphone sales with an old term ‘crackberry‘ now simply known as smartphone addiction. Over 60% of teenagers in the UK admit to being highly addicted to their smartphones during a research survey taken by Ofcom.
With over 50 percent of teenagers and 25% percent of adults owning a smartphone it’s safe to say twitter, Facebook and checking email is putting fuel on the fire.
Despite most smartphones having cameras and privacy violations continually violated 47 percent of teenagers are likely to use the toilet while using their phone. Whether they have an iPhone, Android, Blackberry or Microsoft mobile phone it seems nothing is slowing the growth of these smartphones. Sooner or later a scandal will break like the school laptops that were spying on kids.
