Men vs Women On This Whole Toilet Seat Thing
For years I’ve heard about this big debacle with men and women involving the toilet seat. During my life toddler, teenage and adult years I never ran into this whole toilet seat thing. The only time I remember putting even the lid down was when I was young and we had a dog (Great Dane) where it was more convenient for him to drink out of the toilet then his water bowel.
So finally one day it happens my other half tells me to put the toilet seat down after I’m done relieving myself. Sure I reply, as long as you leave the toilet seat up after finishing. She almost agreed and it was worth a try. I ask why is it important that I leave the seat down. Her response because late at night when needing to go she might fall into the toilet. My response I might leave the toilet seat up and leave a liquid surprise. Since then I have never heard a peep about the toilet seat.
On a side note my mother has a pretty funny story about me and the toilet seat when I was really young.
Folks now call me silly but, it’s a toilet seat why even make it into a big deal. If you don’t have any kids or a pet the toilet seat can stay where it is. If you have pets or kids no only does the toilet seat go down but, the lid to and that is a whole different story.
